Yuichiro Aoki from Japan Aerospace Exploration (JAXA) will be the first Keynote. This keynote speech includes the introduction of ongoing research projects at JAXA regarding the algorithmic airframe design methods based on biomimetics and Voronoi decomposition approach, load path tailored composite structures and novel wing design concept for Urban Air Mobility.

 Justin Merotte, PhD-Ing at Coriolis Composites will talk about last development of Automatic fibre placement for Thermoplastic composites and hybridation with Fused Filament Fabrication.

Kunal Masania from TU Delt will be the third keynote.Head of the Shaping Matter Lab, he will talk about additive manufacturing of biologically inspired composites focused for paradoxal properties.

Skylar Tibbits is a co-director and founder of the Self-Assembly Lab housed at MIT’s International Design Center. The Self-Assembly Lab focuses on self-assembly and programmable material technologies for novel manufacturing, products and construction processes. Skylar is one of the instigator of 4D printing since 2013. He will speak about 4D printing from the beginning to the future advancement.

Dr. Xiaoyong Tian is a professor of additive manufacturing in School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. On October 2010, Dr. Tian got his Ph.D at TU-Clausthal, Germany, on the topic of rapid prototyping of ceramics. Now, his research interests are focusing on 3D printing and applications of composites, innovative structure design and application, such as EM metamaterials, 4D printing. He is the associate editor of Progress in Additive Manufacturing, Springer, and deputy editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering: Additive Manufacturing Frontiers

His speach will be entilted : Additive manufacturing of smart composite structures
